General Competition Terms and Conditions of Zenjob GmbH

1. Competition organiser

The competition organiser is ZENJOB GmbH, Stromstraße 15, 10551 Berlin, Germany.

2. Eligible participants

All natural persons over the age of 18 and resident in the Federal Republic of Germany are eligible to participate.

3. Prize

The prize depends on the competition in question. It is not possible to pay out the cash value or exchange the prize.

The winner will be chosen at random unless otherwise stated in the relevant competition.

The judges’ decision is final.

Winners will be notified in writing. If no response is received within 7 days, a new winner will be drawn.

4. Start and end of the competition

The competition ends at the stated time. We reserve the right to end competitions early.

5. Liability

The participant releases ZENJOB GmbH from any liability. ZENJOB GmbH is not responsible for any legal infringements (copyright, trademark law, offensive content, etc.) resulting from participating in the competition.

ZENJOB GmbH assumes no liability in connection with the competition or in connection with the prize.

ZENJOB GmbH is not liable for any damage caused by errors, delays or interruptions in transmission, malfunctions of technical equipment and services, incorrect content, loss or deletion of data, viruses or by any other means whilst participating in the competition, unless such damage was caused intentionally or by gross negligence on the part of the organiser. This does not apply in the case of injury to life, body or health or in the case of maliciously concealed defects.

6. Privacy

The provision and use of personal data is necessary in order to participate in the competition. The participant guarantees that the personal data provided by them, in particular their first name, surname and email address is true and correct. The organiser states that none of the participant’s personal data will be passed on to third parties nor given to them for use without consent.

Personal data will be collected in the course of the competitions. This is necessary for the draws, to notify winners and to send the prizes. The legal basis for the processing of personal data in the context of the competition is Art. 6( 1)( b) of the GDPR (to take steps prior to entering into a contract or to perform a contract). The storage of the data is based on the legal provisions (primarily the German Tax Code (Abgabeordnung; AO) and the German Commercial Code (Handelsgesetbzuch; HGB)).

ZENJOB GmbH is the Data Controller as defined in the GDPR.

In accordance with Article 15 of the GDPR, you have the right to request disclosure of whether and, if so, to what extent we are processing personal data or not. You also have the right, in accordance with Article 16 of the GDPR to demand that we correct the data. In accordance with Article 17 of the GDPR, you have the right to erasure of personal data. You have the right to have the processing of personal data restricted in accordance with Article 18 of the GDPR. And in accordance with Article 20 of the GPDR you have the right to receive the relevant personal data provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and the right to transmit this data to another controller without hindrance from the controller to whom the personal data was provided.

7. Other

German law shall apply exclusively. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of ZENJOB GmbH.
